Join Industry City, brooklynONE productions, and Puppetworks for a special community celebration honoring one of Brooklyn's most beloved cultural institutions as it prepares to begin an exciting new chapter at Industry City.

For nearly 50 years, Puppetworks has inspired generations of children and families through the magic of marionette theatre, imaginative storytelling, and arts education. As the organization prepares to relocate to its new home at Industry City, this unique event will celebrate both its remarkable legacy and its bright future.

The day begins with a family-friendly celebration featuring interactive puppet activities, creative workshops, hands-on crafts, special displays, and opportunities to meet Puppetworks artists and performers. Children and families will have the chance to explore the artistry behind puppetry and experience the wonder that has made Puppetworks a treasured part of Brooklyn's cultural landscape.

In the evening, guests are invited to a special reception featuring wine and light refreshments, community storytelling, special presentations, a live puppet performance, and an exclusive preview of Puppetworks' future theatre and educational space. Attendees will also be invited to share their own memories as part of What Puppetworks Means to Me, a community storytelling initiative preserving the organization's legacy for future generations.
